Plan Legislative and Regulatory Update 3Q22

On August 3rd, the IRS released Notice 2022-33. The Notice extends plan amendment deadlines which required plan documents to comply with the Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Act of 2019 (“SECURE Act”) and the relief for 2020 required minimum distributions (RMDs) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”).
