On December 23rd, Congress officially passed the SECURE 2.0 Act of 2022 as part of the $1.7 trillion Consolidated Appropriations Act (“CAA”) of 2023. SECURE 2.0 was comprised of three previously proposed bipartisan retirement bills, including the EARN Act and the RISE & SHINE Act.
